WHAT WE DO
Why should you care about the EU?
You may have a specific problem with the way EU legislation is applied, which has a negative impact on the way you conduct your business. You may have developed a new product or a disruptive technology, and you do not know how Brussels may want to regulate real or perceived risks. Or you operate in an industry where EU regulation can have a decisive influence on the success of your business. As the EU now impacts a large number of sectors and activities, these and other kinds of cases where you need to engage successfully with Brussels become increasingly common.
We offer a variety of services, including strategic advice and advocacy; analysis of policy trends and developments; assistance in dealing with the EU in relation to legislative matters or specific regulatory proceedings; advice on policy design and implementation; providing input into business analysis in preparation for prospective deals. Our services cover a range of policy and regulatory aspects, with a focus on energy, climate change and the environment, digital and other emerging technologies.
Helping your business thrive in a sustainable world
The challenges relating to energy and the environment are very real and urgent – and of interest to policy makers. For you and your business it may be a matter of success or failure how European regulators address these challenges and draft the rules of the game. Whether you are active in the sectors of clean energy and environmental technologies, or you want to adapt your operations to grow in a sustainable way, we can help you to ensure that regulation will support you, not hinder you.
Policy makers have a say over what the future holds
Science and technology are essential for providing solutions to societal problems and responding to human needs and aspirations. Digital, robotics, artificial intelligence, nano or biotech, are all playing a part in changing the world as we know it, and this can often appear to be daunting. We can make the case for your technology in Brussels to ensure that policy makers manage any genuine risks appropriately, whilst at the same time giving you the help you need to accelerate technological progress.
Don’t ignore the panda in the room
Nobody can afford to ignore China these days. If you do business with China, and you encounter problems or wish to improve your relations with the Chinese authorities, support from the EU can make a difference. We can help you convince Brussels that it is important for Europe that businesses like yours flourish in China and that they should get behind your case.
We do not take action for action’s sake, we are about effectively addressing your needs. There are all sorts of things one can do in Brussels, we will focus on what makes most sense for you. Business has its own language and culture, and so does the EU. We can articulate business concerns and solutions in a way that strikes the right note with policy makers.
